Non-alcoholic Christmas Beverages

Hi fam!

Since I am not able to enjoy the classic alcoholic beverages this Christmas, I decided to share some of my favorite kid-friend, pregnancy-friend, and DD-friendly recipes for this Holiday season. Not only are these drinks delicious, but you can have unlimited amounts without self-loathing.

Apple-Cranberry Punch:

  • 1 L bottle of apple cider
  • 500 ml cranberry juice
  • Apple slices for garnish
  1. Combine cranberry juice and apple cider in a large jug or bowl and refrigerate until ready to use.
  2. Right before serving toss in some fresh apple slices for garnish

Italian Cream Soda:

  • 2 liter club soda
  • Bottle of your choice of Torani syrup flavor (I like raspberry or blackberry)
  • 1 carton of half and half
  1. Add ice into each cup until there is enough to fill the cup half way
  2. Add 1/2 cup club soda to the ice
  3. Add 3-4 tbsp of Torani syrup
  4. Add 1-2 tbsp of half and half

Pomberry Cocktail: 

  • 500 ml cranberry juice
  • 500 ml pomegranate juice
  • 350 ml club soda (or 500 ml if you like to dilute further)
  1. Combine all ingredients (except the club soda) together in a large jug and chill
  2. Add the club soda right before serving

“Champagne” Cocktail:

  • 2 cans frozen raspberry lemonade
  • Cold water
  • Frozen raspberries
  • Bottle of sparking grape juice or apple juice
  1. Thaw both cans of raspberry lemonade
  2. Fill an ice cube tray with a few raspberries per cube and top off with the thawed raspberry lemonade, freeze overnight
  3. Mix frozen raspberry lemonade with water according to instructions on the can
  4. When you’re ready to serve, spoon a tablespoon of the second thawed raspberry lemonade into each flute, top off with the sparkling juice, and toss in a raspberry ice cube
  5. Toast!

Classic Virgin Caesar:

  • 1 bottle of Mott’s Clamato “The Works” Caesar mix
  • Ice cubes
  • Caesar rimmer
  • Pickled green beans or celery (I like the beans, personally)
  1. Rim your glass
  2. Add ice to your glass to your liking
  3. Top off with Clamato
  4. Stick a bean in it

Tonic Water and Lime:

  • 1 L bottle of tonic water
  • Ice
  • Lime
  1. Add ice to your highball glass, top with tonic water, and throw in a lime wedge


  • Eggnog
  • Whipped cream
  • Cinnamon stick
  1. Heat eggnog up on the stove until just warmed
  2. Ladle into mugs and tip with whipped cream and stick in a cinnamon stick for stirring
